The summer atmosphere
With stars twinkling, beckoning,
Shining as pure as dew drops
On the sky's vast field.
It traps seductive scents
Of midnight flowers
Dancing through the air
And through my senses.
My thoughts and very being
Rise to navy infinity,
Not containing me
Like the cruel roof I left behind.
A flutter past my ear,
Pulsing as a heartbeat
Yet as delicate as the wind,
Carries my thoughts away
Many miles from where I rest
To places I never dreamed
They would venture off to.
Embedded into my surroundings,
As much as any rapid sprinkler
Or the hum of cars as the pass,
Is the ghost of you,
Always haunting,

If I could wish for one small thing right now
I'd be lost with you in some far off place,
Watching contently in deep awe of how
Every ray of sunshine kisses your face.
I'd wish that I was that great shining star
So I could steal her task and do her deed.
Yet away from the world we are now far,
And never to be found is all I need.
The only sound right now I want to hear,
A whisper of your breath at break of day
With silence untainted from me, I fear
Because your presense took my breath away.
As soon as this wonderment lets me speak,
We'd talk 'til the sun ends its daily reign.
Crystal stars scatter over forest trees,
And when th
There once was a young boy named Patrick
Who'll never stab you in the backtrick
He has some new problems
Rants to me to solve them
And if you ask me, that is whacktrick
A gentle summer rain,
Yet a wave crashing down.
Pitter patter on the pane,
Yet the ocean which we drown.
Gentle yet violent,
Nursing yet strong.
An ongoing note,
In life's epic song.

We Hardly Reveal Our Poetry
The reason people hardly reveal their poetry,
Is because it is more than just words written,
More than just a bunch of rhyming words on notebook paper.
It's a way to take your heart out for examination,
A way to see yourself and your emotions at every angle,
To see yourself in a clearer way than you otherwise could.
The reason people hardly reveal their poetry,
Is because people reading your poem is more than just letters and lines,
But instead giving them a lens with which to view your soul,
A section of your soul they may not have seen before.
Those who are unaware of the fact that you are revealing your soul,
Who have never reco

A Different Identical World
The world as one is waking
As the alarm clock rings.
Each morning that they're making
Progresses to past things.
Above them is the same sky
They saw the day before.
As time so slowly ticks by
This factor they ignore.
In unison they're passing
People they've never met.
Oppurtunities asking,
Yet each they fail to get.
As if one person they all
Return home from their work.
Hints scream from inside each wall
But thoughts are failed to jerk.
As each rest their head at night
And think back on their day,
They think they could have just might
Gone through a different way.
The moments in front the same
As each day left behind.

I gave up on it years ago.
Said goodbye to gazes from afar,
Whispers in the playground,
And beside school lockers,
Butterflies making a meadow of my insides,
Daydreams playing like a film.
I was tired of the word getting out,
Being looked at in disgust
With eyes that have many times drowned me,
Or looking from far away one day
And knowing that it will never be.
Unrequited love was not for me.
Until now, I wondered what it felt like,
How it could at all be possible,
To let your heart choose for you.
Surely your mind must have some say,
Some choice in who you fall for,
And even if your heart does choose someone,
It's a person

Kriti has wanted me to get a deviantart for some time, and now I finally have one. Even though I'm not as creative as so many of the deviously deviant people here, but I guess I'll do my best.
I'm currently trying to figure out deviantart and hopefully will have some things up soon.
